CES Welcomes New Board Directors

New CES board members bring a diverse mix of expertise.

Cleveland, Ohio, June 21, 2019:
The Cleveland Engineering Society (CES) will welcome six new members to its board of directors on June 27. The new directors will be introduced at the 139th Annual Meeting at the Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room.

These new directors will serve a three-year term from July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2022.
• Blaine Beichler, Development / Communications Coordinator, Sanctuary Software
• Russell Critelli, Principal, OHM Advisors
• Brian Foss, Mechanical Engineer, The Austin Company
• Eddie Rein, Project Manager, Intertek-PSI
• Sara Simpson, Design Team, Captain, The Austin Company
• Lance Wilson, Director of Engineering, Alloy Bellow & Precision Welding
CES President Dr. Michael Heil says, "I'm elated to welcome such an outstanding group of new members to our CES Board. Their experience, backgrounds and new ideas will help us better serve the needs of our membership and Cleveland's engineering community."

Two board directors were re-elected to serve a third term: Joe Hocevar, President, Hocevar Engineering LLC and Wessam Mekhael, Regional Office Manager, SME. Wessam will also serve as the CES Secretary from June 2019- July 2020 as will the following officers: President, Dr. Michael Heil, President, ML Heil Consulting, LLC; Vice President, Linda Barita, Chair, WiM Ohio; and Treasurer, Kathy Gargasz, Superintendent of Consumables, Lincoln Electric.

At this event CES will also award two $1000 scholarship to students who have demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional community involvement and plans to pursue studies in engineering or another STEM related discipline.
