Summary

Courtad Dalton is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for our Specialty SubContracting Company. The industry is Architectural Metal Products. Specifically, all metal products that are installed on the exterior of commercial buildings. Courtad Dalton manufactures these products and installs them using its' manufacturing plant in Mantua, OH and Field Installation teams in the Ohio and adjacent state region. Position is full time salaried position in our main office.

Description

List of Main Duties and Responsibilities.

CAD Operation
Panel Builder Software Operation
Oversee and contribute to development of project submittals that include drawings, product samples, color requirements to GC Customers.
Exceptional communication skills are required with both internal team and external customers.
Interpret Architectural drawings for CD particular product and details from estimating phase to project production.
Development and release of panels, siding, trims, flashings and all related metals to manufacturing side of business.
Interface with field teams during project production for manufacturing of custom pieces
Project Field Measurement in consort with Operations Manager
Participate in operations meetings for things like new project planning, mid-course project updates and project wrap up.
Develop As-Built drawings at project conclusion.
Monitor LEED requirements

Description

The ideal candidate has worked in the delegated-design and engineering facade / cladding /enclosure / curtain wall industry,have a PE or SE in multiple states, with a current NCEES record. Having a California PE or SE or the ability to secure one within a 6-month time frame is desired.
B.S.C.E. B.S.A.E. (Architectural Engineering) with Structural Emphasis from an ABET accredited college, minimum 8-10 years as an engineer in curtain wall, cladding or related field.
